TEAGARDEN, M. D. Dr. Teagarden was born in 1879 at Clarksburg, Pa., and graduated A. B. in 1903 from Waynesburg (Pa.) College. He then entered the University of Pennsylvania and graduated M. D. in 1907 from this institution. He located at once in Chambersburg, occupying the offices of Dr. L. F. Suesserott, then lately deceased. Dr. Teagarden practiced medicine in Chambersburg for twelve years and then removed from the County. He was never a member of the Medical Society. Several years prior to his leaving the County, he established in South Main Street, Chambersburg, Pa., the Merklein Memorial Hospital. This venture was not a financial success and was discontinued when Dr. Teagarden left the town. Dr. Teagarden returned to Franklin County in 1927 and now resides on a farm in the vicinity of Williamson.
