WALKER, M. D. Dr. Walker was born in Virginia and graduated M. D. in 1864 from the Pennsylvania Medical College, Philadelphia, Pa. He came to Franklin County in 1866 and located at Dry Run, where he practiced medicine for ten years or more and then removed to Mercersburg and was there for about ten years in the drug business in connection with the practice of medicine. About 1890 he returned to Dry Run, where he died some years later. Dr. Walker was admitted to the Medical Society in 1873 and readmitted in 1895 and was a vice-president in 1887. Dr. Walker, it is known, was in Dry Run in 1876 and in 1895 and was in Mercersburg in 1881.
