DR. THOMAS WATKINS

Dr. Watkins lived and practiced medicine in Chambersburg from 1814 to 1816 
inclusive.  He then returned to Virginia in which state he had previously 
resided.  It is said that he became unpopular with the citizens of Chambersburg 
because of the exhorbitant fees he demanded for his services.
