JACOB HENRY WISHARD

  Jacob Henry Wishard was born near Greencastle in Montgomery Township on 
November 10, 1856, a son of Samuel and Sarah (Van Dreau) Wishard.  He was 
educated in the public schools and read medicine in the office of Dr. Daniel F. 
Royer, Shady Grove.  After attendance upon the usual course of lectures he was 
graduated M. D., 1883, from Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, Pa.

  Dr. Wishard located at once in Leitersburg, Washington County, Md., where he 
since has been in the active practice of his profession.

  Dr. Wishard married Mamie Durboro.  He is a Republican in politics.  Dr. 
Walter H. Wishard is a son.
