JONATHAN ZETTELMAYER The only available information of Dr. Zettelmayer is a newspaper clipping which is reproduced verbatim: "Dr. Jonathan Zettelmayer respectfully informs the inhabitants of Chambersburg and vicinity, that he has opened a Shop in the House of Henry Schroeder, in Main Street, nearly opposite Mr. Jacob Snider's Tavern, --where he is ready to receive the commands of those who wish his Professional services, either in Physic or Surgery. He hopes from his long service in the Military of Europe to merit the confidence of the Public. The Dr. also, cures the Consumption, Bite of a mad dog, melancholy, etc. etc. if applied to in time. He may be consulted at his shop every day until ten o'clock." March 30, 1819
