Hess and wife by a Deed bearing date March 31st 1897 recorded in Franklin County Deedbook Vol 108, Page 344 conveyed to Samuel Koons, the decendent, and requested to have a part of the same to the value aforesaid set apart to her. We did therefore on the day of the date hereof go in person to the said premises and after examining the same do say that the said premises cannot be divided without injury to or spoiling the whole thereof and we do therefore determine against the division of the same and do value the same at the amount of $1,350. We, the under signed appraisers, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a full and correct Inventory and Appraisement of the property which the widow of Samuel Koons, late of the Borough of Waynesboro, deceased elected to retain for the use of herself and family under the provisions of the Act of Assembly of this Commonwealth, passed the 14th day of April A.D. 1851.
