We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ____________________________________________________________ DULL/SMETZER Franklin County, Pennsylvania Deed Book 17, page 49-50, dated 14 Dec 1813: To all people to whom these shall come Catharine Doll late Catharine Smetzer daughter and one of the heirs of George Smetzer late of Washington Township Franklin County and State of Pennsylvania deceased and John Doll her husband and Elisabeth Doll one other daughter of the said deceased and Daniel Doll her husband sendeth greeting. Know ye that we the said Catharine Doll late Catharine Smetzer and John her husband and Elisabeth Doll late Elisabeth Smetzer and Daniel Doll her husband (all of Washington Township aforesaid) for and in consideration of the sum of seven hundred dollars lawful money of the United States paid to each of the said heirs Hath remised released and forever quit claimed and by these presents doth remise release and forever quit claim unto Peter Smetzer Jacob Smetzer & David Smetzer (all of Washington Township aforesaid they being sons and heirs of the said George Smetzer deceased) and to their heirs and assigns forever all the estate, right, title, interest claim and demand whatsoever of them the said Catharine Doll late Catharine Smetzer and John Doll her husband & Elisabeth Doll late Elisabeth Smetzer and Daniel Doll her husband of in or to all that certain messuage or tract of land whereon the said George Smetzer late decesd. formerly did live with the appurtenances it being all the landed property of the said George Smetzer deceased situate in the Township County and State aforesaid To have & to hold the said messuage land and premises above mentioned unto them the said Peter Smetzer, David Smetzer their heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of them the said Peter Smetzer Jacob Smetzer and David Smetzer their heirs and assigns forever so that neither they the said Catharine Doll late Catharine Smetzer and John Doll her husband Elisabeth Doll late Elisabeth Smetzer and Daniel Doll her husband nor their heirs nor any other person or persons for them or either of them on in either of their names or right shall as may by any ways or means whatsoever at any time hereafter claim challenge or demand any estate right title or interest of in or to the said messuage lands and premises or any part thereof but from all and every action and actions estate, right, title, interest, claim and demand of in or to the said premises or any part thereof they and every of them shall be forever by these presents and the said Catharine Doll late Catharine Smetzer and John Doll her husband Elisabeth Doll late Elisabeth Smetzer and Daniel Doll her husband and their heirs the said messuage lands heriditaments and premises with the appurtenances to the said Peter Smetzer Jacob Smetzer and David Smetzer their heirs and assigns against them the said Catharine Doll late Catharine Smetzer and John Doll her husband and Elisabeth Doll late Elisabeth Smetzer and Daniel Doll her husband and their heirs shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. Before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace in and for Franklin County aforesaid personally came the within named Catharine Doll late Catharine Smetzer and John Doll her husband and Elisabeth Doll late Elisabeth Smetzer and Daniel Doll her husband and severally acknowledged the foregoing release or instrument of writing as and for their act and deed and desired the same to be recorded as such according to law the said Catharine & Elisabeth both being of full age separate and apart from their said husbands by me examined and the full contents thereof made known unto them and they voluntarily consenting thereto.
