John Kelly soninlaw and two of the daughters to Nathaniel Paul deceased (sic) of Fannet Township Franklin County and aforsaid state. And the said Nathaniel died intestate left a certain tract of land situated and being in Fannet Township Franklin County and State of Pennsylvania bounded north east and south east by lands of Samuel Gamble, and on the south and south west by lands of William and ........ Campbell and on Northwest Tuscarora Mountain, containing one hundred and eighty two acres and one hundred and thirty perches be it more or less, and leaving a widow named Mary and six children, William Paul, Mary Paul, George Paul, Samuel Paul, Margaret Paul, Jean Paul to divide amongst them the aforsaid tract must descend agreeable, to Law with all the appearance therunto bringing for the consideration herein after mentioned we the aforsaid John Kelly and Mary Kelly his wife hath bargained and told and by these presents Do bargain, sell and confirm unto James Johnson of the county of Cumberland and the state of Pennsylvania and the Tobone Township his heirs all and singular our shares, rights and appearance whatever that by course of Law wants or might have fallen to us, our heirs, Executors or any of them as our shares or divisions of one tract of land herein described late the property of Nathaniel Paul for the sum of one hundred ninety eight pounds one shilling and ten pence unto us in hand, good and lawful money of the state of Pennsylvania paid by James Johnson unto John Kelly and his wife Mary Kelly ninety eight pounds one shilling and ten pence in full of our shares of and in the aforsaid tract of land and the appearance thereunto belonging and the receipt thereof we both acknowledge. Know ye that I John Kelly and Mary Kelly and Jean Paul with our bargain with James Johnson for the aforsaid consideration money to us in hand paid as before mentioned hath valued, remised, and by these presence release unto James Johnson his heirs and assigns forever all rights and .......... and every other advantage by both law and justice is now have or ever had or ever hereafter might have as our heirs, Executors, or any of them to or in the before mentioned described tract of land it being in Fannet Township and County of Franklin and aforsaid state and do hereby forever quit all claim to or for the same or part thereof. In testimony hereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this twenty eighth day of May one thousand eight hundred.
