Dr. and Mrs. C. W. Brewbaker, Chambersburg, met with a severe accident while visiting at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Brewbaker, near State Line. Her mother had placed her on a bed where she was peacefully sleeping, when in some manner she turned about and fell from the bed. Her shoulder was fractured. The Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Brewbaker have taken the child to their home. She is resting comfortably and does not seem to suffer greatly from the accident. GREENCASTLE NEWS W. Scott Fleming has removed to his newly remodeled home south of town. George P. Vance of Windber, Pa., is the guest of his mother, Mrs. Alfred Lesher. Joseph Wagaman has returned from a visit with relatives in Emmitsburg, Md. Mrs. Jacob Shank and daughter, Miss Amy, and their guest, Mrs. Witmer, Pittsburg, have gone to Pen-Mar where they will spend a week. Mr. and Mrs. I. G. Rider are visitors to Hagerstown today. Dr. C. E. Henneberger has returned to Philadelphia after a visit with his parents here. G. Fred Fletcher has returned to Pittsburg. Daniel Williams, Waynesboro, is visiting friends in Greencastle. Miss Zoane Friedly, Waynesboro, is the guest of Mrs. John Friedly, Allison street. Misses Pearl Rhodes and Helen Bishop have returned from a several weeks' sojourn at Mt. Gretna. W. D. Pittinger will open a restaurant in the Wagner building recently occupied by J. E. Whitmore. W. H. Witmer and wife, Misses Ida and Emma Eshelman and --- Lowman will make a trip to Williamsport, Md., to day in Mr. Witmer's automobile. F. K. Ployer, Mechanicsburg, has been appointed G. A. R. inspector for this district.
