Hesekiah BAER died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edward SHOCKEY, on the 
JACOB's farm near Zullinger, Sunday night at 11 o'clock in the 63rd year of 
his age. He had been an invalid since he received a stroke of paralysis about 
a year and a half ago, and for two weeks was bed fast. Mr. BAER was a farmer 
by occupation and was much respected in the community. He was a member of the 
German Baptist church. Deceased is survived by his wife and four children: 
Henry, Waynesboro, Mrs. James THOMPSON, Hagerstown, Mrs. Edward SHOCKEY, 
Zullinger, and Nancy, at home; also these brothers and sisters: John, 
Waynesboro, Jonathan and Mrs. Michael JACOBS, Zullinger, Christian, Shady 
Grove, and Mrs. Susan DEARDORF, Altenwald. Funeral Wednesday morning at 9 
O'clock; services and interment at Price's church.
