Frank Bender, a native of Waynesboro, and a resident of the town until about ten years ago, died Tuesday evening at 7:45 o'clock at Grove City, Mercer County, Pa. of paralysis, with which he was attacked ten days ago. He was in the 69th year of his age. The body was brough here to the Grove funeral parlors today, and the funeral will be held there at 2 p.m. with Rev. F.F. Bahner in charge, and burial in Green hill cemetery. Mr. Bender was the son of Jacob Bender, deceased, for many years a widley known undertaker and furniture dealer in Waynesboro, and his wife, Margaret (Dock) Bender. The deceased was a core maker by trade and for many years was employed in the Geiser and Frick foundries. He was a member of Trinty Reformed church and tha Odd Fellow's fraternity. Surviving Mr Bender are his wife, Mrs. Amy Bender, 147 South Broad street, and three sons, Jacob H. of Shepherdstown, W. Va,; William E. Hagerstown, and Raymond C. Bender, Ithaca, N.Y.; one brother, J. Dock Bender, Waynesboro.
