MRS. JOHN BITNER

Mrs. John Bitner, widow of John Bitner, of Blain, died at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Samuel W. Miller, near Loysville, Friday aged 84 years.  Her 
death was due to the infirmities of age.  Mrs. Bitner resided with her husband 
and family in Henry's Valley for many years and the Bitner home was a haven of 
hospitality.

Her husband died several years ago.  She is survived by the following children:  
William, of Hagerstown; Alfred, of Chambersburg; Mrs. John Henry, of Blain; John 
S., ex-county commissioner, of Enola; and Mrs. S. W. Miller, of near Loysville.  
Funeral was held on Monday.  Interment at Blain.
