SUSAN BRICKER, wife of ex-Justice of the Peace Jacob S. Bricker, died at her home in Shimpstown, Montgomery township, Jan. 31, just as she had rounded out the 78th year of her life. She had been suffering for years from dropsical troubles but had been going about, until the day of her death. Mrs. Bricker's maiden name was Tallman. Her wedded life extended through a period of 52 years. Six sons and three daughters of her ten children survive her. A host of grandchildren and some great-grandchildren are numbered among the descendents. She was a kind, motherly, home-loving woman, devoted to her husband and family. She was carried to her last resting place in Mercersburg cemetery on the Tuesday following her death, Rev. C. A. Santee, of the Mercersburg Reformed church, conducting the funeral exercises.
