Brown, the last of the old wagoners of the Mont Alto Iron company and well known throughout the county died at the home of his sister in Greenwood, on Friday evening at 6 o'clock. The cause of death was paralysis, with which "Wagoner" Brown had been confined to his home for several months. He sustained the first stroke about four years ago and had been in ill health ever since. He was about 60 years old. The well known wagoner was employed with the Iron company until the death of Col. Wiestling and hauled many a load of its product to Chambersburg. He was a bachelor and made his home with his sister, Martha, who with a brother, Wilson, survives him.
