Philip N. Brumbaugh, who at one time resided in Gettysburg and who was a 
brakeman on the Western Maryland Railroad, residing in Waynesboro, died at the 
Railroad Y. M. C. A. hospital in Hagerstown, Friday morning, after having been 
operated upon for appendicitis.  The remains were taken to Waynesboro for 
interment.
