Carr, died at 5 o'clock last evening at her home, 317 East Queen Street. She was aged 71 years, 1 month and 3 days and was a member of the Fourth Street Church of the Brethren. Mrs. Carr is survived by her husband, two sons and a daughter, John S. Carr, Roy M. Carr and Mrs. Katherine Keefer of town [Chambersburg]; two grandchildren and these brothers and sisters, Nathan Minnich of Fairview, Ill, Mrs. Elizabeth Hammond of Waukee, Ia., Monroe R. and George R. Minnich of Greencastle and Mrs. Sarah A. Hartranft of Maugansville, Md. The funeral services, conducted by Rev. C.E. Grapes, assisted by Rev. Dr. W. Edward Watkins, will be held at the Herman C. Kraiss funeral home, 152 south Second street, at 2:30 o'clock on Thursday afternoon; burial at Norland cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 o'clock on Wednesday evening.
