[Bender] Myers Carr, 56, of William's Trailer Park, Painesville, Ohio, died of a heart attack yesterday at her home. Born May 26, 1904 in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Minnie Nye Bender. She was a member of the Community Christian Church Painesville, and the Urania Chapter No. 284, O.E.S (Order of Eastern Star), Painesville. Her first husband, Alfred Myers, died in 1931. Surviving are her second husband, W. Lloyd Carr; two sons, Harold E. and Alfred C., both of Baltimore; a step-son, W. Lloyd Carr, Jr., of Baltimore; two step-daughters, Mrs. Margaret Jones, Mentor, Ohio, and Mrs. Annabel Underbakke, of Mabel, Minn.; 19 grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Charles C. High, 401 Hood St. and Mrs. Ray S. Shadle, 57 N. Franklin St Funeral services will be held this evening at 8 o'clock at the Johnson Funeral Home, Painesville, with further services Wednesday at 2 pm at the Barbour Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Mentzer officiating and with the burial in the Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg, PA. Friends will be received at the Barbour Funeral Home tomorrow evening from 7 to 9.
