She was in the 69th year of her age, and is survived by the following children: Mrs. John O. Ditch, of Burbank, Ohio; Charles H., of Chambersburg; J. Sherman, of Waynesboro; Sarah Catherine, of Philadelphia, now at home, and James F., of Harrisburg. The funeral will be held Wednesday, morning with a short service at the house at 8:30 o'clock, after which the body will be taken to Kauffman, where the regular service will be held in the German Baptist church at 11:30 o'clock. Rev. Vaughn T. Rue will preach the sermon. The friends will please take notice of this in lieu of other word. The Herald Daily, Waynesboro, PA, May 27, 1907 -------------- Mrs. Nancy B. Carr, Aged 68 yrs. Mrs. Nancy Belle Carr died yesterday morning at 10.30 o'clock at her home on Roadside avenue after an illness of five years. During the last six months of that time she was bedfast. The cause of her death was gastritis of the stomach. She was aged 68 years, 5 months and 2 days. Mrs. Carr's maiden mane was Miss McCutcheon. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert McCutcheon She was born and lived at Greencastle her entire life with the exception of the last nine years. For four of these years she resided in Cumberland county. Five years ago she came here and made her home with her son, J. Sherman Carr, Roadside avenue, where she died. She was a member of the Methodist church. She is survived by these children: Mrs. John O. Ditch, Burbank, Ohio; Charles H. Carr, Chambersburg; J. Sherman Carr, Waynesboro; James F. Carr, Harrisburg; Miss Sarah Catherine Carr, Philadelphia. Funeral services, Wednesday; meet at the house at 8.30 a. m. The funeral cortege will be driven to Kauffmans station, where at 11.30 a. m. Rev. V. T. Rue will preach the funeral discourse. An autopsy was performed on Mrs. Carr's body, yesterday afternoon, by Drs. J. H. Koons, Joseph Frantz, J. B. Amberson and J. W. Croft.
