COOK died at his home in Webster Mills, Fulton county, at 10 p.m. Sunday. He was taken ill with pneumonia Thursday night and his condition steadily grew worse. He was aged 54 years. A wife and three children survive him. Dr. Cook was widely known as a physician and as a politician. He was a frequent visitor to Chambersburg. He was elected a member of the legislature from Fulton county as a Democrat last November and had attended a few of the sessions. He was a man of much personal magnetism and a skilled physician. Dr. Cook was born in Warren township, this county, and was raised in Mercersburg. He removed to Fulton county twenty-five years ago. He was married to a Miss Seylar of Maryland.
