Coyle, 86, widow of Horatio P. Coyle, Waynesboro RD 4 died at 4:40 PM Friday at the Waynesboro Hospital. She had been in failing health for several years and was seriously ill since May. Mrs. Coyle was admitted to the hospital after becoming critically ill Friday morning. She was born at Mowersville, PA, July 25, 1884, daughter of the late Abraham and Barbara Wingert Brechbiel. Her early life was lived in Washington County, MD. She and Mr. Coyle made their home at PenMar for a number of years following their marriage. Mr. Coyle died in 1937. Mrs. Coyle was employed at the Waynesboro Knitting Company for 10 years. She had made her home at the Waynesboro RD 4 residence since 1951. She was a member of St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church. Mrs. Coyle is survived by these children: Mark B. Coyle, Baltimore; Mrs. Agnes Peters, Waynesboro; Mrs. Rachael Fleagle, Hagerstown RD 5; Mrs. Melvin Friese, Waynesboro RD 3; Frederick J. Coyle, Waynesboro RD 4; and Mrs. Plummer Fraley, Thurmont RD #2. Also surviving are 37 grandchildren, two step grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM, Monday in St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church by the Rev. Anthony Burakowskis. Burial will be made in the St. Andrew Cemetery.
