Phyllis E. Daughenbaugh 

  Phyllis E. Daughenbaugh, age 88, formerly of 3001 Luther Drive, 
Chambersburg, died January 15, 2008 at the Falling Spring Nursing and 
Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg. Her husband Emory L. Daughenbaugh 
died January 1968.
  Born February 8, 1919, in Tyrone, PA, she was a daughter of the late 
Charles F. and Esther Stonebreaker Nearhoof. She was a graduate of 
Tyrone High School. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 
Chambersburg, PA.
  She is survived by two step-sons: Emory P. and wife Pat Daughenbaugh 
of TX, James E. Daughenbaugh of Phillipsburg, PA, two grandchildren: 
Felecia Gilbert and Jeffrey Daughenbaugh, a sister: Roberta J. Hoover 
of Tyrone, PA, and a daughter-in-law, Ruth Phillips of Chambersburg, 
PA. She was preceded in death by a step-son Robert Daughenbaugh; and 
three sisters Leila Sollenberger, LaRue Durkee, and Betty Sollenberger.
  Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in the Bald 
Eagle Cemetery, Bald Eagle, PA, by the Rev. Norman Huff. There will be 
no public visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. 
Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Chambersburg, PA.
