All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/franklin/ _________________________________________ Civil War Veteran's Widow Dies at Burbank Burbank - July 13 - Mrs. Mary Ditch, 82, widow of John Ditch, Civil War Veteran, died this morning at the home of her son, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ditch in Burbank after an illness of several years. She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, Alta, and two sons, Grant and James. Surviving are three sons, Sherman and Harry of Burbank, Charles of Toledo, one daughter, Mrs. Dorotha Reed of Burbank, two brothers, Sherman and Charles Carr of Pa. and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist Church in Burbank on Sunday at 3 o'clock with the Rev. E. A. Jester assisted by Rev. Straicht officiating. Burial will be made in the Burbank Cemetery. J.C. Murray at Creston is in charge of arrangement.
