 Village record: (Waynesboro', Pa.) 1863-1871: February 14, 1862
Christian Frantz, Senior, the oldest minister of the Mennonite Church in this
section of the country, and perhaps in the State, died at his residence near this
place on Friday evening last, aged 75 years, 1 month and 25 days. Mr. F. was a most
worthy citizen, and was not on)y held in very high esteem by the denomination of
Christians to which he belonged, but by all classes where he was known.
