ANDREW S. FLICKINGER

Andrew Snively Flickinger died Wednesday morning after a lingering illness.  He 
lacked only a few days of reaching his 75th birthday.  Mr. Flickinger was a man 
of more than ordinary intelligence, having also obtained a better education than 
was common to people of his day, teaching in the earlier days and later devoting 
his life to farming, having retired but a few years ago. He was a life long 
Republican, serving in different elective offices in Metal township, where he 
always resided, and a member of Upper Path Valley Presbyterian church.  He is 
survived by his widow who was a daughter of the late James McCurdy.
