Pleasant Road, Fayetteville, retired employee of Letterkenny Army Depot, died at 3:30 p.m. March 17, 1981, in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born July 20, 1893, in Greene Township, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary Burns Flory. His wife, Mrs. Grace Newell Flory, died July 26, 1975. He was of the Protestant faith and retired from Letterkenny in 1959. Surviving are 10 children: Edward F. Flory, 213 E. Main St., Fayetteville; Robert D. Flory, Lewiston, MI; Earnest L. Flory, Safford, Ariz.; Garnet E. Flory, 1856 Black Gap Road, Fayetteville; Mrs. Robert [Mary] Mitchell, 1460 Black Gap Road, Fayetteville; Mrs. Edgar [Gladys] Stoner, 1918 Hafer Road, Fayetteville; Mrs. Wayne [Beatrice] Bowman, 4660 Sycamore Road; Mrs. Robert [Grace] Bowman, 1085 Black Gap Road, Fayetteville; Mrs. Jay [Doris] Bard, 560 S. Main St.; Mrs. James [Ruth] Bennett, 193 Echo Drive; 44 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. He was the last of his immediate family. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the John O. Park Funeral Home with the Rev. George S. Mouer Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
