GEARHART - Charles L. Gearhart died at 5 o'clock yesterday morning at his 
home at Upton, aged 56 years, 1 month and 14 days. Death was due to 
pneumonia. He was a member of the St. Stephen's Lutheran Church at Upton and 
is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Walck Gearhart, one daughter, Edna A., at 
home and two brothers and three sisters, Mrs. J.E. Stouffer of Greencastle 
RR#1, J.E. Gearhart, Mrs. Charles Stoner and Mrs. Daniel Stoner of Williamson 
and David G. Gearhart of Newcastle, Indiana. The funeral will be private, 
with services at the home at 2:30 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon, conducted by 
Rev. H.B. Burkholder; burial at Cedar Hill cemetery, Greencastle. The body 
may be viewed at the home from 4 to 7 o'clock this evening.
