Mrs. Anna M. Gerber, 75, Eger Lutheran Home, Staten Island, NY, died this 
morning at 3 o'clock in King County Hospital, Brooklyn, NY, following an 
illness of one and one-half years. Born July 18, 1894, in Chambersburg, she 
was a daughter of the late David and Anna Elizabeth Garner Carr. Mrs. Gerber 
was of the Lutheran faith. Surviving are one brother, George W. Carr of 
Baltimore; three nephews, John Etchberger, Harold Dale and Walter Dale, all 
of Chambersburg, and three nieces. Funeral service will be held Monday, 2 
p.m., from Sellers Funeral Home, with the Rev. John J. Lenhardt, officiating. 
Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 
Sunday evening between 7 and 9 o'clock.
