GOSSARD.

David Gossard died at his home in Hagerstown, on Saturday, August 30th, from the 
infirmities of age, aged 75 years.  Mr. Gossard was born near Middleburg, in 
this county, and resided in that locality for a number of years.  He was the 
father of 24 children, 20 of whom survive.  He is also survived by his second 
wife, 80 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  His first wife was Miss 
Catharine Elliott, of Middleburg.
