Johnson died at his home in Antrim township, near Greencastle, on Tuesday morning, aged 29 years, 1 month and 11 days. He was a son of the late Ephraim Johnson, of Chambersburg, and has a large number of brothers and sisters who are residents of town. He was a member of the Greencastle U. B. church and was a hard working industrious man. He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Josephine Biesecker; by his mother and by the following children: Maggie, Catharine, Harry and a 8-year-old daughter. The surviving brothers and sisters are as follows: George J., T.M., and S.M. Johnson; Mrs. Amanda Kynser, Mrs. Susan Baanitz, Mrs. Alice Wagner and Mrs. Sarah Ferney. Funeral was held on Wednesday; interment in the Greencastle cemetery. People's Register, Chambersburg, PA, November 1, 1901
