MISS ANNIE McGOVRAN died last Friday at her home on West Market street after a 
lengthy illness.  She was born in Mercersburg and came to Chambersburg many 
years ago, and has since resided here.  Her father, a well known physician, and 
her mother and her brother, Dr. William McGovran, died many years ago.  Miss 
McGovran was of a kindly disposition and had a large circle of friends.  She was 
of a charitable disposition and her many beneficiaries will mourn her death.  
She was aged about fifty-five years.
