Myers, 69, of 10663 Newburg Rd., died early Wednesday evening, Oct. 23, 1985, in Chambersburg Hospital. Born July 3, 1916, in Shippensburg, he was the son of the late Boyd and Blanche L. Alleman Myers. He was a retired employee of Nitterhouse Concrete Product, Chambersburg, and a member of Lurgan United Brethren church and its Sunday school. Surviving are his wife, Mildred L. Newell Myers; three sons, David J. of 7258 Sunset Rd., Newburg, Boyd C. of 11158 Upper Strasburg Rd., Upper Strasburg, Jerry L. of 4272 Maclays Mill Rd., Shippensburg; four brothers, David B. of Roxbury, Jerry L. and Charles "Jack", both of 78 Minnich Rd., Chambersburg, Ellis "Abe" of Amberson; seven sisters, Esther [Mrs. Amos] Kuhn of 47 Minnich Rd., Chambersburg, Helen [Mrs. Ira] Stevens of Star Rt. 2, Shippensburg, Berdella [Mrs. Ralph] Gipe of 17487 Cumberland Hwy., Newburg, Kathryn [Mrs. John] Miner of 6011 Oak Mont Cir., Fayetteville, Edna [Mrs. Robert] Ryder of 1741 Alexander Ave., Chambersburg, Sally [Mrs. Melvin] Crider of 11067 Hurley Dr., Shippensburg, and Molly [Mrs. Kenneth] Shoemaker of 17394 Amberson Rd., Spring Run; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Fogelsanger Funeral Home, 112 W. King St., Shippensburg. The Rev. Arnold E. Wagaman will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Lurgan United Brethren Church, 7607 Roxbury Rd., Shippensburg, PA 17257 Newspaper and date unknown
