Ralph Noll, 70. of 215 Highland Ave., died at 12:30pm Wednesday (July 4, 1973) at the Waynesboro Hospital. He had been ill for the past two weeks and was admitted to the hospital yesterday morning after suffering a heart attack. Mr. Noll was born at Waynesboro R.D.1, June 24, 1903, son of the late Benjamin and Clara (Gossard) Noll. His early life was lived in the Biesecker Gap area. He and Mrs. Noll had lived in Waynesboro since their marriage in April 1922. Mr. Noll was a patternmaker and all his active life was employed at Frick Co. He served as foreman in the pattern shop for over 25 years and prior to his retirement in January 1971, he was superintendent of the company foundry. Mr. Noll was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God and the Men's Bible Class of the church. In addition to his widow, Mrs. Annie B. (Carr) Noll, he is survived by these children: Mrs. Ralph Helm, Waynesboro R.D.4; Mrs. Samuel Royer and Adrian Noll, both of Waynesboro; Richard L. Noll, Waynesboro R.D. 1, and James E. Noll, Mont Alto. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Penny Headenberg, Cleveland, Ohio. The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 pm in the Grove Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Walter A. Stuart. Burial will be in Burns Hill Cemetery.
