PALMER - Luther Palmer, the well-known bus man [business man ?], died at his 
home in town at 6 a.m. Tuesday after a long illness, in the 49th year of his 
age. His wife [Julia A. CARR Palmer]; two daughters, Mrs. Geo. [Laura] 
Harmony and Miss Nellie and one son, Leslie survive him. Mr. Palmer was 
raised in Greencastle, where his relatives now live, and moved here some 
years ago. He was a member of First Lutheran church and was a good man, with 
many friends who regret his death.  Funeral on Thursday at 10 a.m.; interment 
at Cedar Grove [Chambersburg].
