Palmer Dies after Lingering Illness - Had Been Faithful Attendant at First Lutheran Church - After protracted illness Miss Nellie E. Palmer, daughter of the late Luther Palmer, died on Tuesday morning at 4 o'clock, at the home of her sister, Mrs. George [Laura] Harmony, West Market Street. She was aged 18 years, 5 months and 18 days. The cause of death was consumption. Miss Palmer had been a faithful attendant upon the Sunday school and different societies of the First Lutheran church. Besides her mother [Julia CARR Palmer] she is survived by a sister, Mrs. [Laura] Harmony and one brother, Leslie M. Palmer, of town [Chambersburg]. Funeral on Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock with interment in Cedar Grove cemetery [Chambersburg]. Public Opinion, Chambersburg, PA, January 1902
