Jeremiah Potts died at the county home on Saturday morning from general debility, aged 64 years. He was born near what is called "Culbertson's Row," in Southampton township. His parents died a number of years ago. Mr. Potts was a veteran of the Civil War, having been a member of Company C, 15th Regiment, Pennsylvania Cavalry. He served from August 12th '62 to July 14th, '65, when he was honorably discharged. His wife died a few days before her husband. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jacob Stickell. He was buried on Monday from Sellers' Bros. undertaking establishment. People's Register, Chambersburg, PA, September 5, 1902
