Senseny died at her home on East Market street about ten o'clock Tuesday morning. Mrs. Senseny was born in this place November 21st, 1815, and was the eldest daughter of Wm. S. and Joanna Kirby Davis. In 1838 she married Dr. Abram H. Senseny, for many years one of our leading physicians. Of their children three sons, William D., B. Rush and Edgar N. were physicians, all of whom died in the prime of life. Mrs. Wm. M. McKnight, of town, and Mrs. A. L. Gardner, of Baltimore, are surviving daughters and Mrs. Rosalie Senseny a daughter-in-law. Mrs. Senseny is survived by two brothers, Thomas K. Davis, of Wooster, Ohio, and Robert S. Davis, Pittsburg, the latter of whom is now in Europe. She was the oldest member of the Falling Spring church and a woman of sterling character, strong mind and upright nature.
