Mrs. Sarah M. Sheaffer, widow of Alexander Sheaffer, died at 12:45 a. m. 
yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Susan Shockey, 360 East Washington 
street, aged 94 years and 23 days.  She had been ill for two weeks.  Mrs. 
Sheaffer was a member of the Church of God.

She is survived by these daughters, Mrs. Susan Shockey, Chambersburg; 
Mrs. David Brown, R. R. ll; Mrs. J. R. Bard, Chambersburg; Mrs. J. R. Ernst, 
York; Mrs. Charles Dickinson, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; also by 18 grandchildren, 30 
great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.  She was the last of her 
family.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. from the home of Mr. 
Shockey, services in charge of Rev. J. L. Weaver with burial in Mentzer's 
graveyard, near Fayetteville.  Friends and relatives are invited without 
further notice.
