Sheeler, widow of Martin Sheeler, Baltimore, died on Thursday, October 24th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James H. Watts, Bolton avenue, Baltimore, aged 83 years, her death being caused by the infirmities of age. Mrs. Sheeler was the youngest child of Lewis Ripple, Sr., and was born at Monterey, Franklin county. Her early life was spent in Washington township, Quincy and Waynesboro. She was an aunt of the late County Treasurer, T. S. Nevin. Mrs. Sheeler was the mother of three daughters, two of whom, Mrs. James H. Watts and Mrs. Dr. H. H. Biedler, both of Baltimore, still survive. The nephews and nieces of Mrs. Sheeler now living in Waynesboro are Dr. S. M. Ripple, James Ripple, T. N. Ripple, George Ripple, Miss Julia R. Nevin, Mrs. Lettie E. Detrich, Mrs. D. O. Hammond and Eli Stemm. She was a member of the M. E. church for many years. People's Register, Chambersburg, PA, November 1, 1901
