Fourth St., [Chambersburg, PA], died of a heart condition at his home last midnight. He had been ill for the past two years. Mr. Shores was born in Frederick, MD, on March 1, 1881, and was a son of the late Frank and Susan Cook Shores. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nettie Newell Flory Shores; nine daughters and sons: Miss Daisy Shores, RR#1; George of RR#2, Hagerstown, MD; Mrs. McKean Polk, RR#3 Shippensburg; Mrs. Russell Herr, Carlisle; Robert of Lurgan; John of Maryland; Frank Jr., of Philadelphia; Mrs. Michael Helman, RR#5, and Mrs. Tom Lindquist, at home; five stepsons and stepdaughters; Carl Flory, RR#1, Newburg; Mrs. Beulah Evans of Chambersburg; Lester Flory, RR#3 Shippensburg; Charles Flory, RR#1; William Flory, 155 N. Fourth St., and a sister, Mrs. Charles Harrison, RR#1, Knoxville, Md.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Barbour funeral home, with Elder John Hamrick, Waynesboro, officiating. Burial will be made in Maplewood Cemetery, Marion.
