SHORES - Frank Shores, 75, of 153 S. Fourth St., [Chambersburg, PA], died of 
a heart condition at his home last midnight. He had been ill for the past two 
years. Mr. Shores was born in Frederick, MD, on March 1, 1881, and was a son 
of the late Frank and Susan Cook Shores. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nettie 
Newell Flory Shores; nine daughters and sons: Miss Daisy Shores, RR#1; George 
of RR#2, Hagerstown, MD; Mrs. McKean Polk, RR#3 Shippensburg; Mrs. Russell 
Herr, Carlisle; Robert of Lurgan; John of Maryland; Frank Jr., of 
Philadelphia; Mrs. Michael Helman, RR#5, and Mrs. Tom Lindquist, at home; 
five stepsons and stepdaughters; Carl Flory, RR#1, Newburg; Mrs. Beulah Evans 
of Chambersburg; Lester Flory, RR#3 Shippensburg; Charles Flory, RR#1; 
William Flory, 155 N. Fourth St., and a sister, Mrs. Charles Harrison, RR#1, 
Knoxville, Md.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral 
services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Barbour funeral 
home, with Elder John Hamrick, Waynesboro, officiating. Burial will be made 
in Maplewood Cemetery, Marion. The family will receive friends at the funeral 
home Saturday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
