  Harry Smiley, aged 79 years died of complications this morning at 2:00 at his home
  115 C. V. Avenue.  He had been critically ill since February 27.
  
  He was born at Catoctin Furnace, the son of Robert and Catherine Wagonhouser Smiley
  and had lived in Waynesboro since 1917 coming here from Elbrook.  He was employed
  by the Landis Machine Company.
  
  Surbiving are his wife Mrs. Liza Jane Patterson Smiley; two daughters and a son,
  Mrs. Edward Emory of Rt 4, Mrs. Charles Patterson at home and James O, Rt 4. 
  Thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  He was the last of a family of
  four children.
  
  Funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 PM form the home in charge
  of the Rev. C. M. Ankerbrand. Interment will be made in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mont Alto.
