LAID IN THE GRAVE

  Messrs. L. H. Kinnard and Benjamin Nead, both members of the 
"Explorers", the former being president, attended the funeral of their 
late fellow-camper, Col. J. N. Snider, at Chambersburg, this afternoon.  
Other members of this end of the famous camping organization were 
prevented from attending by illness, either of themselves or in their 
families.  Rev. Mr. Leisenring, pastor of the First Lutheran church of 
which deceased was a member, conducted the funeral serves.  It was a 
very largely attended funeral.
