Mrs. Mahala A. Stoops, widow of the late James Stoops, died on last Tuesday, 
April 14, at Waynesboro from tuberculosis, aged 41 years, 11 months.  The 
funeral was on last Thursday.  She leaves a husband and seven children.  Three 
sisters and two brothers survive, Mrs. Jno. Ketterman of Iron Springs, Mrs. 
Benjamin Carson of near Zullinger, Mrs. Wm. E. Currens of Waynesboro, David E. 
Smith of Hagerstown and John Smith of Edgegrove.
