STOUFFER

Mrs. Sarah Stouffer, wife of Isaac Stouffer, died at her home, in Quincy 
township, on Thursday, October 24th, aged 81 years.  Her death was caused by 
pneumonia from which she suffered for about one week.  She was a member of the 
Reformed church and was a consistent Christian, a woman of a sympathetic nature 
and possessed of an unusually sweet disposition.  She is survived by her husband 
and these children:  Mrs. H. M. Fritz, Quincy; W. H. Stouffer, New Holland, 
Lancaster county; Mrs. Delia Bear, at home; Mrs. Emanuel Fouse, Marklesburg; 
Mrs. Samuel Beaver, Williamsport, this state; Mrs. Amanda Baird, of the Santee 
Indian agency in Nebraska.  She was laid to rest in Green Hill cemetery, 
Waynesboro, on Saturday.
