He was born and reared in Franklin county, PA, son of Adam and Margaret [Phillipy] Vanderau but has resided in this section for the past 30 years. He is survived by sisters, Mrs. Carrie Small, Marion, PA; Miss Margaret Bell Vanderau, at home; Mrs. Jefferson Selhammer, Leitersburg; Mrs. Harry Snyder, Quinsonia, PA; Mrs. May Shatzer, at home; Mrs. Leroy Elliott, Duffield, PA; brother, John V., Chambers, Illinois; Earnest, at home. The body was removed to the Coffman Funeral Home and on Thursday morning will be removed to the home where services will be held on Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock with the Rev.
