Wagner died at his home in York, Pa., from an attack of malarial fever, on Monday evening, aged 33 years and 20 days. Mr. Wagner was born in Waynesboro and learned the machinist trade in the Frick shops. He traveled for the company several years and subsequently was in the employ of the Standard Oil Company. At the time of his death he was manager of the York Ice Plant. He is survived by his wife, who was formerly Miss Carrie Anderson, of Waynesboro, and by one son, Richard; by his father and by these brothers and sisters: Jacob, Philadelphia; Aaron A., Mrs. Upton Bell, Mrs. Elmer Sprenkle, Mrs. Anna Raby, of Waynesboro, and Miss Ella Wagner, at home. His remains were brought to Waynesboro on Wednesday for burial. People's Register, Chambersburg, PA, September 5, 1902
