I William Blakeny of the Township of Washington County of Franklin and State of Pennsylvania altho weak in body yet of sound mind and memory blessed be God for his goodness do by these presents constitute and ordain this as my last will and testament and hereby invalidate and make of none effect all other and former wills and testaments by me made in the first place resigning my soul into the hands of God who gave it and my body to the earth from whence it came desiring it to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors as for my estate and worldly substance both real and personal I appoint and ordain that it be disposed of and divided amongst my beloved children in the manner following, to wit: In the first place that all my lawful debts be paid and necessary expence discharged out of the whole estate real & personal which I allow to be sold within two years, and in the next place I bequeath unto my well beloved sons James Bleakeny and his heirs, William Bleakney and his heirs Fergus Bleakney and heirs and Samuel Bleakney and his heirs the two thirds of the amount of my whole estate to be equally divided share and share alike between and among my fours sons as above named excepting only that five pounds is to be given and converted to the use of my beloved grand son William the son of James Blakeney out of and at the payment of the last sale of the price of the land if said William lives to enjoy it and if not to be equally divided amongst the legatees as the other parts, and in the third place I appoint and bequeath unto my well beloved daughters, Ann, Catherine, Jenat & Sarah Bleakney and their heirs the one third part of my whole estate real and personal to be divided equally share and share alike amongst them excepting only that twenty five pounds is to be taken out of Catherines share and given to my son Samuel at the time of the first payment to her and I appoint that each and every of my daughters be paid their proportional shares as the moneys are received from the sales and I do hereby nominate and appoint my sons James and William as executors to take care and execute this my last will and testament according to the true intent and meaning thereof they making the sale and distributions as above directed. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the nineteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight. Signed Sealed & pronounced as is the last will and }William Bleakney seal testament of William Bleakney in presence of James Crooks, James Moorehead, Fergus Bleakney On the 27th February 1798 James Crooks & James Moorhead two of the witnesses to the within writing appeared before me the subscriber Register for the probate of Wills & granting Letters of Administration for Franklin County and on their solemn oaths deposeth & saith that they were present & saw & heard William Bleakney decd. Sign his name unto & seal & publish the within writing as for his last will and testament & that at the time of doing thereof he the said William was of sound & disposing mind memory & understanding to the best of their knowledge that their names signed hereto is of their own hands writing & that they did see Fergus Bleakney the other witness sign also at the same time.
