James Findlay's estate will book C p 76 recites he is of Green Tp
yeoman gives:
to my wife Jean Findlay household goods, cow, horse etc
to my oldest son Samuel all that he or my atty recovers fr Nimrod Dodson in 
case of 250 A land I bot of Dodson in Powers Valley, Tenn & since I lost it by 
due course of law
to my son John Findlay all that tract he now lives on adjg me ctg 148 A +
to my son James Findlay of Chambersburg lot 354 the tanyard
to my youngest son William Findlay tract I now live on ctg 250 A
Exrs to sell other property & make equal distn
to my four daughters
Elizabeth married to Stephen Duncan
Isabel married to James Gelbraith
Mary married to Joseph Culbertson
Jean married to Samuel A. Rippey
