First it is my will that my funeral etal be conducted without pomp unnecessary haste or osteution[?] and that all the expences thereof together with all my just debts be fully paid. Second I direct that a fair valuation or appraisement be made according to law of all my personal Estate by two competent and impartial neighbors and there sold at public sail Third I will that my Executors herein after named may sell my Real Estate without being appraised either at private or public sale together or in parcels or prices as they may think or can get the most for it and the proceeds of the sale of my Real and personal Estate to be divided among my children hereinafter named Fourth I will that my children receive share and share alike thay shall all be made equal the names of my ten children are John, Samuel, David William Polly who was intermarried with Mantzer Susan intermarried with Samuel Hacker, Elizabeth intermarried with Henry L Hege, Nancy intermarried with Abraham Zook, Catharine intermarried with Henry Brechbill, and Fany who was married to Joseph Zook but she being now dead and having left children thay are to have thare mothers share coming from me and so my sons who are dead thare children shall have thare Fathers share coming to them from my Estate. But all who are no blood relations shall have nothing from my estate. Firth I direct that if any of my children shall go to law and make cost the cost shal be taking of his or her share. And I do hearby make and ordain my Esteemed and well beloved sonin law Henry Brechbill and my Esteemed Friend David Good and my Esteemed Friend Jacob Bender Executor of this my last will and Testmaent Exposing full confidence in thare integrity to perform the vust [?] their commited to them. In witness thereof I John Gsell the testator have to this my will written on this sheet of paper set my hand this Twenty third day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Seventy Three.
