In the Name of God Amen I William Hannah of the County of Franklin Township of Antrim and province of Pennsylvania considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory Blessed be Almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last will and Testament in the maner following that is to say First I give and command my soul to God who gave it and my Body to the dust to be buried in adecent and Christian manner at the discretion of my Executors, whom I appoint my son in law James Morrow and my Beloved son John Hannah of the Same place Sole Executors, Secondly I give and Bequeath unto my Beloved wife Elizabeth and my Beloved Son John all the Lands moveables and possessions and Interest that I am in possession of or belongs to me in Conocojeague and if my son John Hannah dies without issue my sons in law James and Henry Morrow shall Equally divide his Estate between them Also I give and bequeath unto my beloved sons in law James and Henry Morrows that part of land situate within about twelve miles of Fort Pit Formerly in Bedford County and now in Westmoreland to be divided equally between them they giving to my wife Elizabeth if living after my Decease and standing in need of __ money: the sum of ten pounds each also I give and Bequeath to my son in law John Wherry the sum of five pounds to be paid twelve months after my Decease also I give and Bequeath to my Son in law Samuel Adams the sum of five pounds to be paid twelve months after my Decease I have appointed my son in law James Morrow and my son John Hannah my Sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby Revoking all former wills by me made. In Witness I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the third Day of March in the ninth Year of American Independance and in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and eighty five. Crawford Jr. Register NOTE: Son-in-law, James Morrow (1755-1826) and wife, Sarah Hannah moved c. 1785 to what was then Peters Twsp/Washington Co and now Upper St Clair, Allegheny Co, PA. James and his brother Henry shared the ownership of the Westmoreland property mentioned in the will. Around 1794, Henry (1760-1841) moved with his wife, Elizabeth Hannah, their first few children and his mother-in-law, Elizabeth McDowell Hannah to the above mentioned inherited property. The current location of the land is in Penn Hills, Allegheny Co PA. William's wife, Elizabeth died in 1807 and her will is filed in Allegheny Co PA, Vol 1, pg 265, #187.
