Probated June 27, 1893 In the name of God, amen. I Jeremiah Zullinger of Upper Strasburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding do make, declare and publish this my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void any and all wills by me at any time heretofore made. First, It is my will and I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be after my decease. Item, I give and bequeath to my wife Susan, Three hundred dollars of my estate real or personal, as she may select. The same to be set apart for her as directed by the intestate laws of the Commonwealth also the interest of one third of my real estate remaining after payment of debts and expenses during her natural life, the said one third to remain in and be a lien on my said real estate, the interest on said one third to be paid to her annually and at her death the principal sum to be paid to my heirs, hereinafter named and in the same manner and proportion as stated in the following. Item, I give and bequest the residue and remainder of my estate, real, personal or mixed to be equally divided, share and share alike amongst my children, namely, John A., Jenni, intermarried with Dr. James M. Gelivix, Jeremiah F., Almeda, intermarried with John Minter and W. Brinton, and the share of my estate (namely, the one sixth part of said residue) that would be coming to my deceased son Frederick L., I give and bequeath to his children after deducting therefrom the amount of his indebtedness for which I have made myself responsible, or that part thereof paid by myself or by my Executor out of my estate. Item, I do order and direct my Executor, hereinafter named, shall as soon as conveniently may be after my decease, sell and dispose of all my real estate at public sale after having given due notice thereof, and I do hereby authorize and empower my said Executor, to sign, seal, execute and acknowledge all such deed or deeds of conveyance as may be requisite or necessary, for the granting and assuring the same to the purchaser or purchasers thereof in fee simple. And, Lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my son John A. Zullinger to be the sole executor of this my Last-Will and Testament. I witness whereof the said Testator have to this, my Will, written on one half sheet of paper, set my hand and seal, this 29th day of October, A.D. 1891. Jeremiah Zullinger (seal) Signed, sealed, declared and published by the above named Jeremiah Zullinger in and for his Last Will and Testament in the presence of we, who have hereinafter subscribed our names in his presence and in presence of each other, and at his request. Britton I, Jeremiah Zullinger, the above and within named testator do make, declare and publish, this codicil to be added to my Last Will and Testament dated October 19, 1891, in manner following to wit: It is my Will and I direct my Executor to deduct the further sum of two hundred dollars from the share in my estate, or legacy bequeathed in my said Will to the children of my deceased son Frederick L. and add the same to the share in my estate or legacy bequeathed to my son John A. Britton one of the subscribing witnesses to the within instrument of writing who being duly qualified according to law, did depose and say that he was personally present and saw Jeremiah Zullinger, late of the Twp of Letterkenny in said County, deceased, the testator therein named, sign his name to said writing and seal the name and heard him publish and declare the said instrument as said for his Last Will and Testament and at the time of so doing he was of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, to the best of their knowledge and belief, and that his own name thereto subscribed as witnesses were so subscribed at the request of the testator in his presence and in the presence of the other subscribed witness, who died prior to the death of testator herein. Register for the Probate of Wills, in and for said County, personally W. W. Britton one of the subscribing witnesses to the within instrument of writing who being duly qualified according to law, did depose and say that he was personally present and saw Jeremiah Zullinger, late of the Twp. of Letterkenny in said County, deceased, the testator therein names, sign his name to said writing and seal the same and heard him publish and declare the said instrument as and for a Codicil to his Last Will and Testament, and at the time of so doing he was of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, to the best of his knowledge and belief, and that his own name was to subscribed as witness was so subscribed at the request of the testator in his presence and in the presence of the subscribing witness who died prior to the death of the testator herein. Register of Wills in and for said County, personally appeared W. W. Britton and W. E. Britton who being duly qualified according to law say they were well acquainted with S. K. Lehman and with his handwriting and especially with his signature, and they believe the signature, S. K. Zullinger, who being duly qualified according to law both depose and say that Jeremiah Zullinger, late of the Twp of Letterkenny in said County, deceased, died on the 22 day of June A.
